Through the MarChE program 1,500 SMEs will receive technical assistance and training in key management functions.
Also, business services provided by and to SMEs will increase by 10% annually.
In addition, the program will assist 500 business service providers to improve management, marketing, and operations.
By not only targeting SMEs directly, but also working with and through local SME service providers, the CNFA Team will foster commercial sustainability of business development services.
CNFA has extensive experience developing commercially sustainable business development services.
For example, in Eastern and Southern Africa, CNFA has created a business management training program for agro-enterprises comprised of inventory, financial and cash flow management modules that is delivered through local training partners on a commercial basis.
This program has helped rural entrepreneurs to improve operational efficiencies, increase sales, manage cash flows, and access new sources of finance.
